We aim to process and ship orders within 1-3 business days. Shipping times may vary depending on your location and the chosen delivery method. We are not responsible for delays in shipping caused by third-party carriers. You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. Any issues with shipping, including lost or delayed packages, should be directed to the carrier.

5. Returns and Exchanges:

  • Bath and Body Products: All sales are final for bath and body products due to health and safety regulations.
  • Non-Bath and Body Products: Exchanges are available within 7 days from the date you receive your order. The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with exchanges.

6. Gift Cards, Store Credit, and Rewards:

Gift cards, store credit, and rewards are issued at Velvet Riot’s discretion for damaged bath and body products, and only if the product was damaged during shipping. These are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

7. User Conduct:

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation of our website or disrupt the servers or networks connected to it.

What is Velvet Riot?

Velvet Riot is a bold wellness brand for the beautifully unhinged and unapologetically alternative. We specialize in chaotic self-care, alt home décor, and vibes that scream “I’m healing, but make it hot.”

From rebellious bath bombs to moody interiors and hand-picked local gems—we’re here to help you romanticize your rage, soften your edges, and look damn good doing it.

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

We process orders within 3-5 business days. Shipping times vary depending on your location, but most orders within Canada and the U.S. arrive in 5-10 business days.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship across Canada and the U.S. If you’re outside these regions, contact us, and we’ll see if we can arrange shipping for you.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Follow these steps:

  1. Take clear photos of the damaged item(s), the shipping box, and the shipping label.
  2. Email us at info@velvetriotco.ca within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and the photos attached.
  3. We will file an insurance claim with the postal service and, once approved, we can either issue a refund or provide store credit for bath and body products.

We want to make this process as smooth as possible, so be sure to keep all packaging until the claim is processed.

Products & Ingredients

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes! All Velvet Riot products are vegan and never tested on animals—only on our founder’s family and friends (willingly, of course).

Do your bath bombs contain CBD or THC?

Some of our bath bombs and skincare products contain hemp-derived ingredients, but we always list this in the product descriptions. THC-infused products will only be available in select dispensaries where legally permitted.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

We carefully craft our products with gentle, high-quality ingredients, but everyone’s skin is different. We recommend doing a patch test before use, especially if you have sensitive skin.

How do I store my bath bombs and skincare products?

Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from humidity. If your bath bomb gets soft or crumbly, just keep it in a sealed container until you're ready to use it!

Do your products stain the tub?

Nope! While our bath bombs are bold in color, they are designed to be non-staining. Just make sure your tub is clean before use and rinse it afterward. If you do by any chance have color residue, make sure to wipe away right away with regular bathroom cleaner or a magic eraser.

The Questions You Really Want to Ask

You sell a Willy Soap… is it safe for inside?

Listen, we’re all about self-care, but let's keep it external use only, okay? We don’t recommend getting too intimate with our soap. Keep it on the outside where it belongs. Your doctor (and your dignity) will thank you.

I dropped my Tampon Bath Bomb in the tub, and my boyfriend almost passed out. Is this normal?

100% normal. We call that a successful prank and a relationship test in one.

Can I eat the soap? It smells delicious.

We get it—our soaps smell amazing, but they taste like regret. If you take a bite, don’t @ us. Just drink some water and rethink your life choices.

Are your products safe for kids?

Most of our bath bombs and soaps are safe for the whole fam, but if your kid is the type to lick everything, maybe keep our more risqué items out of reach.

Will your products make me a baddie?

Absolutely. Use our products, and suddenly, your skin’s glowing, your confidence is sky-high, and you’re out here serving looks and breaking hearts. Side effects may include an increase in selfies and an inability to tolerate basic people.

Your products have a lot of dark humor. Are you okay?

We’re fine. Totally fine. Just exfoliating the pain away. Thanks for your concern, though.
